Project Brief & Approach
Brand Neusense was formed in September 2005 and came to Fluid Creativity with a desire to sell unique and modern designer clothing on the global market. We were tasked with designing and building a site that would compete in one of the most saturated markets in ecommerce. With no retail shop to support the business, it was important that the final brand was visually strong enough to work online.
It was essential that Brand Neusense staff could control both the content and the stock from the back end of the site. This was important for our client as it would save time in administration leading to significant cost savings. The whole site was integrated into our own custom e-commerce platform with an admin suite easily accessible from a browser anywhere in the world. Stock, prices, offers and new products can all be easily managed from the content management system.
The design of the site had to be different, it had to look fresh and modern so it would attract its target market and ultimately succeed in what is a highly competitive sector. Both Fluid and Brand Neusense were very pleased with the final result, the brand is well placed, trendy, and appeals to its target market of 18-35 year olds. The design also had to be unique and visually appealing both online and across print media to make it stand out against all other online branded clothing retailers
As well as the design and implementation of the site, Fluid took on the job of getting Brand Neusense ranking well in the search engines. Thanks to an exhaustive and transparent SEO campaign, Brand Neusense started to see significant traffic and sales early on in their business life. Alongside the SEO campaign we also developed a newsletter campaign which went on to win the accessibility award at The Big Chip.
