WordPress Installer Hacked
Wordpress is one of the most popular free Blogging / Content Management Solutions available on the net today and is used by hundreds of thousands of loyal bloggers.
The most recent version of Wordpress (version 2.1.1) has been flagged by the Wordpress team has having a serious security flaw. It was determined that a hacker gained access to one of the servers that host the Wordpress installer download and modified the file to include a 'back door' that he may use at some future point.
All Wordpress users are being encouraged to update their installation to the latest version (still 2.1.1 but now verified by the Wordpress team) to close any security holes.
