We’re headline sponsors of the DiB Women in Business Awards 2015!
Anyone who knows the team here at Fluid will know we’re never ones to say no to a knees up, and when said knees up is to celebrate a cause so close to all of our hearts, well that’s even better!
This Friday afternoon, the Fluid (and AD) team will be donning their glad rags and heading to Manchester’s prestigious Lowry Hotel, to the Downtown in Business Women in Business Awards 2015. Headed by our managing director Scott Dylan, the teams across both AD and Fluid are a bunch truly invested in promoting equality in the workplace. We’re passionate about driving forwards towards a sector that presents equal opportunities regardless of gender, race, religion or otherwise. So when we were asked to be headline sponsors for this event, naturally the answer was a resounding yes.
The Women in Business Awards are all about ensuring a more prosperous, diverse business sector. There’s still a large gap between the number of men and women at executive level in business, but by celebrating and championing the accomplishments of those women at the forefront, we’re getting ever closer to seeing a positive, permanent change in the workplace.
We’re excited to be joined on Friday by members of the Glasgow and London teams, and will also be bringing some of our clients and partners to the event. We’ll be sending along a whole host from the Fluid team, including MD Scott Dylan, Lead Developer Adrian Toomer, Head of Online Marketing Mithul Mistry and Tracey Phillips, our Account Manager. From across the group we welcome Stirland Martin (Account Director) Cat Leaver (Head of Strategy), David Johnstone (Commercial Director) and from Glasgow the lovely Ashleigh Cameron (Digital Account Manager). Say hi if you see them there – they’re a friendly lot!
We’re honoured to be able to support this significant cause, and we’d like to thank the guys at DiB for their hard work in organising the event, and congratulate in advance those who are successful in the awards ceremony on the day.
We can’t wait to meet everyone – both familiar faces and new – and are looking forward to what promises to be a brilliant afternoon of celebration. As always we’ll be on hand to chat and answer any questions, so pop by and say hello if you see us there!
The event takes place at 12.30pm on Friday 10th July at The Lowry Hotel. For live updates and news on the awards, follow #WIBA15 on Twitter and get involved in the conversation!
