Ground Control To Major…Actually, Didn’t Catch His Name!

For over a year now, we’ve been greeted every morning as we pull into Fluid car park by the unusual sight of a couple of space rockets. Sometimes though, said rockets have been gone. Where did they go? Who flew them? And who keeps bringing them back?!

Up to now, we’ve had no idea. That was until our MD Lee Turner popped out for lunch and ran into an astronaut!

The elusive Starchaser astronaut

It’s not every day you get to meet an astronaut so we got him to pose next to his ship, the Starchaser, for a quick photo.

Turning blue…

At this point, the poor guy’s helmet was misting up and he was turning a funny shade of blue so we had to let him go – off to boldly go where no-one has gone before, no doubt – but we’re glad we got to meet the man at last!
