Brief

Our aim was to create a website that would allow customers to build a set of custom fitted golf clubs to their personal requirements by entering their measurements. It also had to look great and meet a strict set of accessibility standards.

Approach

We came up with the back-end functionality of the website first to allow us to make sure the club fitting system worked just right. All the product details are entered and updated on the web by Made 2 Measure Golf through a content management suite, which also automates product image uploading.

The drop-down menu system we went for is not generally considered to be accessible, but with a little hard work and careful planning, we managed to create a version that works perfectly across different browsers including screen readers for the disabled.
