Brief
Brother had a very important year coming for their colour inkjet printers, releasing 13 news products into the market. To coincide with this, they needed a firm promotional backing allowing them to showcase the key features of these products and the technology used.
The project needed to ultimately target the potential end users of Brother printers, and had to be usable at shows, as a standalone file, on the web and in meetings as a sales tool.
Approach
After receiving the lowdown on the new technology Brother wanted to promote, we knew that flash animation was the way to go for this project. Brother left it with us and a number of differently styled concepts were storyboarded and sent for consideration.
A concept of two painters with 'Brand X' and Brother paint, was chosen to be developed further and animated. We went with rich, vibrant colours and a clean style to reflect the quality of Brother's printing products.
